My Bio

Yep, I'm Ides. I pretty much suck at art. I'm sorry for polluting this site ._. A lot of the art in my gallery is old and not really representative of what I do now, but I'm too lazy to take it off.

I'm a self-taught artist. I last took actual art lessons when I was...seven? Doesn't mean I'm not dedicated to my artwork, though! I want to take art lessons, but I don't really have time for them.

I'm still exploring art. I'm not sure what medium I prefer, and my subject matter is still varied. I enjoy digital painting, but I absolutely STINK at it. I'm more proficient with watercolor and sketching. Hopefully, I'll get some focus soon!

Digital Coloring

Like a derp, I just realized what any self-respecting digital artist has long before: namely, that one can digitally paint over traditional sketches. :doh: I've had to give up so many works because I was not able to capture the idea in the initial digital sketch, but with my newfound "wisdom", expect much more artwork from me. (Hahaha I'm fooling myself. No one will actually read this.)

Three days ago I got injured in an accident, and now I can only just type. Still can't hold a pencil, though, so don't expect anything from me before Monday. I had been working on a scout picture, but...Oh well... TF2 time?
